According to the actual and recent topic of climate change and environmental protection, realizing the responsibility for future sustainable economic and social development, Czech Republic and China are AAAAAA steps in order to intensify the dialog and exchange of know-how and experience. Waste and its conversion into energy is one of the fields in which the Czech Republic and its officials as well as companies have been quite active in China for several years. There is a huge potential for waste utilization in various fields, especially in capturing and burning of methane gas, which allows the Czech companies to share the technical know-how and best practices with their Chinese partners.
The seminar in Beijing is an integral part of the project financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, which continued with an official participation of the Czech companies in MIECF 2010 in Macau SAR and will end with the Sino-Czech Seminar on Waste Management and Clean Energy on 12th April 2010 in the Renaissance Hotel in Shanghai.
